Dreadfleet - Giant Sea Turtle Skeleton

My first completed piece from the Dreadfleet boxed set, approximately 4 years after getting the box as a Christmas gift! This manse on the back of a skeletal giant sea turtle is probably my favourite piece from the set! It's been painting in progress for around 3 years!

I've decided to finish off all of the lovely terrain and gubbinz from the set before venturing on to tackle the ships individually. My housemate seems particularly keen on this game so I should try completing this one soon!

Dreadfleet

Just realised that I haven't posted up a picture of my Christmas wargaming spoils...

A lovely present from my parents (I'd fancied it the year before but hadn't got around to suggesting it...). I spent the afternoon and evening of Christmas Day clipping the terrain and gubbinz from the sprues. There are some lovely characterful parts in there - I love the terrain especially. Giant skeletal sea turtles, sacrificial altars built into the side of volcanos, massive fortresses - fantastic! I spent most of last night sorting through various different figures to spray undercoat, including the terrain from this set. Expect some of it soon...
