Necromundan Pit-Slave

My first conversion from the brilliant Chaos Cultists in the Dark Vengeance box - a Pit-Slave with shears.

I love these figures! This one is probably one of the most "Chaosy" out of the bunch of them. With an arm swap and some judicious shaving (there was a little cult symbol and some scarring on his chest to remove) it was easy to create a whole new character. I've been painting him up tonight - the little lumps on his back will be scarring from previous stimm-shunts to keep him up and working. Pictures of the finished model will be shown relatively soon! The cultists pretty much paint themselves!

Some people just want to watch the world burn...

Behold! My first foray into the world of Superheroes and Supervillains. This guy has yet to have a name, but was inspired by reading Nemesis by Mark Millar (of Kick-Ass fame), watching The Cape and generally not wanting to just repaint the Batman Heroclix my flatmate's younger brother gave me as Batman.

Very happy with the conversion, it sprang to mind and I thought it'd look rather cool. The head will be painted as part of the costume, rather than him actually having a messed up head...

Yo ho, yo ho, a slayer pirate's life for me!

Recently elevated in the paint queue - dug him out whilst at my parents recently. Based on one of the fantasy Dwarf Doomseekers I received amongst a trade, I had the idea to turn him into a dwarf slayer pirate for use in Mordheim. I'm useless with the greenstuff, so he was sent off to my friend Si, of the blog The Rising Sign to give him a hand to hold the pistol and a parrot to sit on his shoulder...
